Machine Gun Kelly is revealing where he and Megan Fox came up with the name for their baby daughter.
In a recent appearance on the Today, the "bloody valentine" rocker, whose real name Colson Baker, explained the backstory behind his and Fox's 2-month-old daughter Saga Blade Fox-Baker, per People. He revealed her name in a sweet video with the little one last week, months after the exes welcomed their first child together in March.
According to mgk, the former twin flames drew inspiration for their baby girl's name from the years-long journey it took to meet their daughter as well as from a figure in Norse mythology. The pair have been open in the past about experiencing pregnancy loss, with the Jennifer's Body star referencing a previous miscarriage in her book of poetry.
"Her journey, the five years of her culmination of coming, disappearing, coming back again, disappearing, coming back again, she's an epic story and that's what Saga means," he said, adding, "I'm also of Norwegian heritage and so that's a Nordic goddess of storytelling and I think she has a storytelling future ahead of her."
The Mainstream Sellout musician also praised Fox for how she is handling being a mom to a newborn once again, saying, "Megan's a great mom and just killing it and I'm so excited."
The New Girl actress is also a mom to sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8, whom she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, while mgk is also shares 15-year-old daughter Casie with his ex Emma Cannon.
