iHeartMedia Louisville Announces Community Partners for the Upcoming Year

Louisville, KY.- October 1, 2019 – iHeartMedia Louisville announced today community partnerships with 12 nonprofit organizations that fall under the umbrella theme of Kids: Heart of Kentuckiana.

Beginning October 1, iHeartMedia Louisville will support the mission of these organization through the stations’ assets including on-air, on stations’ websites and on social media. iHeartMedia Louisville will create in-kind media campaigns for the following non-profit organizations: CASA of the River Region; Center for Women and Families; Children Have Options in Choosing Experiences; Cure CF, Inc.; Family and Children’s Place; Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana; Heuser Hearing Institute; Home of the Innocents; Kids Cancer Alliance;Lighthouse Academy of Newburg; Louisville Urban League; and Visually Impaired Preschool Services. Each non-profit will also be given a designated on-air station personality to serve as public ambassador. The last set of media campaigns will end in September 2020.

Each community partner will create a three-month marketing campaign based on their specific needs, ranging from seeking volunteers and raising visibility to increasing donations. iHeartMedia Louisville’s Local Advisory Board, comprised of over 25 community leaders,educators and entrepreneurs, selected the recipients through an extensive application process.

Last year, iHeartMedia Louisville awarded in-kind media campaigns to three community partners: Family Community Clinic, 2NOT1 and New Roots Fresh Market. Following its three month campaign with iHeartMedia, Family Community Clinic reported a 400 percent increase in donations along with a 270 percent increase in volunteer applications.
