Love Is Blind alums Lauren and Cameron Hamilton have officially become parents.

On Monday (October 20), the Hamiltons, a fan-favorite couple from season 1 of the hit Netflix show, announced that they welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Ezra, on October 1.

Ezra's birth marks the end of a four-year fertility journey for the couple.

“He’s been such a blessing already,” Lauren told PEOPLE. “Having [him] has made the long journey worth it.”

“The 4 a.m. feedings and diaper changes have definitely made it feel more real. I’m grateful for it all,” Cameron added, calling the experience "surreal."

The couple said the name Ezra came to them early in the pregnancy. After Lauren’s father passed away, the pair found a family Bible belonging to his mother. When they opened the Bible, it landed on the Book of Ezra, and a photo of Lauren’s dad fell out.

“That was a sign,” Lauren said.

The Hamiltons said holding their baby for the first time brought a sense of peace after years of trying to conceive.

“It was such a relief,” Cameron said. “I was thinking, ‘We really did it.’”

Now, the Love Is Blind alums are focused on soaking up Ezra's milestones.

"We’re looking forward to all the firsts,” Lauren said. “I want to see how his little face changes over time.”
