Chelsea Peretti is over the haters who still think women can't be funny.

The More Better podcast recently featured a mini Brooklyn Nine-Nine reunion as Peretti joined hosts Stephanie Beatriz and Melissa Fumero to get the squad back together for a fun chat about all things comedy and their time on the beloved sitcom. After the hosts gushed over Peretti, calling her "exceptionally gifted" at comedy and "one of the greats," they shared some of their earliest memories of thinking something was funny, which coincidentally was from watching I Love Lucy when they were younger.

"I used to go to this daycare... and I was eating sugar cereal and the lady who ran the daycare was like a chainsmoker, and I would just sit and watch I Love Lucy and I thought it was so funny," Peretti said

The comedian then clapped back at the same tired conversations some people rehash over whether or not a woman can also be good at comedy, especially when I Love Lucy is one of the most famous sitcoms in the history of television that continues to have a lasting impact even decades later.

"That's what's always been amazing to me when people, like, every 10 years are like, 'women can't be funny, can they be funny, are women funny?'" she said. "And it's so dumb, but you literally can find articles about this and people pontificating if it's possible, and it's like, wait a minute... It is crazy, Lucille Ball was so funny."

On More Better, B99 costars and real-life friends Beatriz and Fumero take listeners "on their personal ride through all aspects of life and share the juiciest cheat codes for adulting, while throwing in some hilarious anecdotes and probably a few embarrassing stories."
