The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (Review)

I am a huge fan of horror movies. I watch at least one horror movie per day which now that I am writing it, sounds stupid, but that is my life haha. I think my favorite horror movie of all time is the nightmare on elm street series. The original, not the remake. That movie sucked. One franchise that I have enjoyed recently is The Conjuring. When I saw the first movie I was immediately drawn in because of the cast and the fact that there hadn't been a new horror franchise in a while.

Well now The Devil Made Me Do It was just released and I watched it, on my own because I am a badass mo fo. The movie was good. It was a refreshing angle to the franchise that hasn't previously been explored. I will not spoil the movie for you but just know that it is not your typical ghost/ demon story. I think that it definitely wasn't the scariest movie, but it was entertaining and exciting for sure. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson are my favorite thing about each and every Conjuring movie. I really like their dynamic on screen as well as their acting ability. They completely nailed this performance also and their relationship as a married couple becomes a larger part of the story which is nice to see.

There is a lot of blood, a lot of creepy and a lot of horror which is all I am asking for. I liked it a lot. That goes on the record! As always you can follow me @evanontheradio
