Hayley Williams Explains Why Paramore's Never Put Out A Full Documentary

With Billie Eilish's The World's a Little Blurry documentary out in the world, Paramore fans are asking demanding a full-length film about the trio.

"WE WANT A PARAMORE DOCUMENTARY TODAY AND NOW" a fan tweeted the day after Eilish's dropped. Perhaps to their surprise, singer Hayley Williams not only responded, but explained why one doesn't exist.

"we have filmed 3 separate times for different docs over a span of the last decade and all 3 times said docs were never finished," she revealed. "the universe simply does not want a Paramore doc"

Though they've never released a full-blown film, the band has shared a number of mini-docs including during the Brand New Eyes and A fter Laughter eras.

In a separate tweet, Williams rebuked breakup rumors for a billionth time. "i am once again asking you to stop perpetuating the rumor that Paramore ever broke up," she wrote.

Speaking of Paramore, Williams recently declared that she's ready for the band to record the follow-up to 2017's After Laughter while answering fan questions on Twitter.

"there are more songs, yeah. but I'm not planning on another solo album. and I'm not sure if they'd be great for Paramore. I'm ready for the next Paramore album. let's go," she said when someone asked if there were songs that didn't make the cut for her latest solo endeavour, Flowers for Vases / descansos.

Williams wrote and played all the parts on the new album, which made a fan curious if that meant she'd "be more involved with the instrumental writing process in paramore albums now."

"I wouldn't say I've been un-involved up till now but the thing is we grew up playing together and learning (and the re-learning) how to write together," the singer-songwriter explained. "they are my favorite musicians in the world. I'm excited to see how our writing together grows for this next project."
