What's left of Notre Dame in Paris

On April 16th, footage of the Notre Dame Cathedral on fire rocked the world.

The 855 year old Cathedral has withstood storms, wars and so much more. It has seen so much change over last 8 centuries, one could not even begin to fathom the history those walls know.

Photos of the aftermath have emerged and the items that were left standing and unharmed are incredible!

Most notably the Golden Cross at the alter of the church.

Also left virtually unharmed? The organ that has been played year after year, for Sunday services, weddings, funerals and so much more. This organ overlooked the alter and only suffered dust in the keys! The organist wrote a heartfelt note to everyone who reached out.

Several people have reached out asking how and where they can donate, most notably, Salma Hayek's family has pledged to donate $113 million dollars to help with the restoration of the church.

the community will rebuild, the out pour of support alone has proven that.
